513 Firewatch provides trained personnel, written post orders, and documented patrols whenever a property's fire-protection capability is reduced or an operation raises fire risk. Choose the condition that matches your situation for scope details, or call dispatch and describe the property — we will tell you which coverage fits.

Assignment Standard

Every Watch Runs the Same Way

Scope of Service

Clear Boundaries on Every Assignment

Our personnel may

  • Observe and patrol designated areas
  • Identify visible hazards
  • Maintain fire-watch logs
  • Notify occupants and property representatives
  • Initiate emergency procedures
  • Contact 911 or the fire department
  • Assist with evacuation communication
  • Follow property-specific post orders

We do not

  • Inspect, certify, test, repair, reset, disable, or install fire alarms
  • Inspect, certify, repair, or install sprinkler systems
  • Replace the authority having jurisdiction
  • Represent itself as a municipal fire department
  • Guarantee that a fire or emergency will not occur

Patrol frequency, staffing levels, and release authorization follow the applicable authority having jurisdiction, impairment plan, permit, facility policy, or client-approved post orders. We do not apply a universal interval rule to every property.
