Accessibility Statement
513 Firewatch is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, and reduced-motion settings. We aim to follow the principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA wherever practical.
What we have implemented
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, forms, and expandable FAQ content
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Labels associated with every form field, with required fields marked
- Color combinations chosen for contrast rather than decoration alone
- Respect for the operating system reduced-motion preference
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on mobile devices
- Descriptive link text and meaningful image alternative text
- No autoplaying audio or video
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we publish new pages and resources we review them for keyboard operation, contrast, heading structure, and screen-reader clarity.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a page, form, or document on this website that you cannot use, please tell us through our contact page and describe the page and the problem. We will work with you to provide the information or service you need through another channel while we correct the issue.
Requesting service another way
You never have to use this website to request fire-watch coverage. Dispatch can take every detail by phone, and our request form is an option rather than a requirement.
